Pre-Requisite: None

Course Description: This 4-6 hour period of instruction is intended to educate the student to the principle & procedures of CPTED. This course will be taught using visual aid supported classroom instruction & practical application.

Lesson 2: Seeing & Being Seen

Lesson 3: Lighting

Lesson 4: Access Control

Lesson 5: Establishing Boundaries

Lesson 6: Hiding Places & Surveillance

Lesson 7: Maintenance

Lesson 8: Wrap Up

Upon completion of this Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (course) Module, the student will possess the fundamental and necessary knowledge to participate and appreciate the Additional Four Modules.

Requirements:

• Notepad and Pen
• Lose-fitting (preferably "tactical") Clothing
• Closed-toe (preferably "tactical") Foot-wear
• Baseball/Operator Type Hat
• Heavy (gun/operator/tactical/riggers) Belt
• Willingness to Participate in Selected "Immediate Action Drills"
