Self Defense Course

Pre-Requisite: None

Course Description: This 4-6 hour period of instruction is intended to introduce the student to the many varied aspects self-defense against an Active Shooter/Spree Attacker scenario. This course will be taught using visual aid supported classroom instruction.

Lesson 1: Introduction

Lesson 2: Evolution of Proactive Strategies

Lesson 3: Evade (Run)

Lesson 4: Barricade (Hide)

Lesson 5: Respond (Fight)

Lesson 6: Unarmed Response

Lesson 7: Armed Response

Lesson 8: Assisting/Encouraging Others

Lesson 9: Wrap Up

Upon completion of this self-defense course, the student will possess the fundamental and necessary knowledge to successfully survive an active shooter/spree attacker situation.

Requirements:

Notepad and Pen
Lose-fitting (preferably "tactical") Clothing
Closed-toe (preferably "tactical") Foot-wear
Baseball/Operator Type Hat
Heavy (gun/operator/tactical/riggers) Belt
Willingness to Participate in selected "Immediate Action Drills"
