Imminent Threat Tactical Basic Pistol Course

Course Description: The Basic Pistol Course is a one-day course that includes both a classroom component and live fire exercises on the range. The Basic Pistol Course is designed for the beginning shooter as well as anyone who may have some experience with a handgun, but has never learned the fundamentals of handgun marksmanship.

Upon completion of this firearms training course, the student will possess the fundamental skills necessary to participate in the Basic Defensive Pistol Course.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age & possess a valid Illinois FOID card
- Notepad and Pen
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Crew-neck Type Shirt
- Lose-fitting (preferably "tactical") Trousers
- Closed-toe (preferably "tactical") Foot-wear
- Baseball/Operator Type Hat
- Heavy (gun/operator) Belt
- Holster and Magazine Carriers
- Personal Defense Semi-automatic Pistol
- Three (3) Hi-capacity Magazines Minimum
- Handgun Cleaning Kit and Gun Oil/CLP
- 100 rounds (minimum) of Ammunition
